4E PAERE: TAHITI NUI MARATHON PROJECT

Here is the 4e PAERE project for Halloween! 




TAHITI NUI MARATHON


What is it?                               It's an international sporting event, a premiere in Tahiti.

Who organized it?                   Tahiti Nui Manihini Mai association organized it.


When was it?                           It started on October, 31.


Where did it take place?           It took place in To'ata Place and all over the East coast of Tahiti island.


How long did it last?                It last three days.


What is it made for?                 It is made to attract international sportsmen and tourists all over the world, to promote the Polynesian culture and traditions, and to develop the local tourism and economy.

THE INTERVIEW

Kristen Wyatt from Australia

What was the students' mission?

The students had to interview a sportsperson.
They had to speak English.
They had to prepare questions for the interview.
They had to act like a journalist.


Introduction:

This is Krysten Wyatt. 
She is Australian and she comes from Australia. 
She lives in Geelong near Melbourne, in the south of Australia on the coast. She lives on the beach. 
She is thirty-four. Her birthday is on November, 16 1978. She is a Sports teacher or a PE teacher in Australia. 
She likes dancing, surfing, chocolate, the sunshine, the beach, running, people, food.
She trains in the morning, and her rest day is on Friday before the race.
She trains for the marathon, the half marathon in Tahiti. She trains to race marathons in Australia and for her club.
She trains for one to two hours per day.
She eats lots of rice and a little tuna and vegetables the night before the race. In the morning, she eats honey with toasts and drinks coffee.
She trains on the beach, in a park, on an Athletic track, on a bicycle track.
